Luckily for us MacIntyre is used to playing in front of an AHL defense.

::) back atcha.  He was at fault on 1 and 3.  Get over it.

That wasn't a 1 on 3. That was terribly played defence by the Leafs and a bouncing puck. He should have stopped it, but, it also should never have happened. The Devils had way too much freedom in the Leafs' zone. But, that's not even the point. The number of odd man rushes the Leafs allowed before that 3rd goal is ridiculous.

I agree with you, man.  Am extraordinarily pissed off right now.  You know that I think this "defense" needs a stick of dynamite taken to it.

Yeah, I know, though I feel like some of your theories on how to address the issue deal with the symptoms rather than the cause.

Things are going well.  Detroit up 2-0, and Leafs down 3-1.  I hope the night ends this way.  Over the cliff we go!!!

It is disturbing, though, that Reimer had a golden opportunity to show RC a thing or two about anointing Bernier too soon and just couldn't get it done after the LA game.  He's finished here now, and more to the point for him personally, he has no claim now to being a legitimate #1.  Wherever he goes he'll have to earn that spot, if he can.

Reimer hasn't played well, but, he's not getting much help. The expectations for goaltending on this team are unnecessarily high. I mean, the odd man rushes tonight, leaving Stamkos all alone all night, the odd man rushes against Detroit, the easily picked apart PK against Washington . . . Reimer never really had a chance. I hope he does really well in Winnipeg next season.

AIIIIIEEEEEE

Man, Kessel and JVR are just not playing they way they can of late. The sharpness has vanished. I'm blaming the Olympics. I think it's finally catching up to them.

My God Randy picked a bizarre time to start running four lines. Kadri's playing great and has about six and a half minutes of ice time so far.

And yeah, Clarkson is just godawful.

I do too.  I like him a lot.

It's just the ebbs and flows of a season, when they're down they'll 'regress to the mean' and when they're up the same thing in the other direction will happen.
