Leafs @ Habs - Feb. 28th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

How anyone in their right mind can consider Damian Cox as an "insider" is beyond me.. He must have thought he died and had gone to heaven when Rogers got NHL rights...

Is there a way for a human being to have less charisma than Scott Oake? Like... maybe if he were being kept alive by machines or something.

Bernier pushed out of the way by Gallagher and the ref is right there. Gallagher goes in unimpeded and hits Bernier in the blue paint.  Screw off ref.

Phaneuf giving Montreal free reign there though too.

I know he's not a physical player and I get that hitting isn't part of his game but watching Kessel go into the corner there on Markov was just ridiculous. It looked like he was playing in a league where hitting isn't allowed and he was terrified of getting a penalty.

Shhhhhh.  The Leafs want to trade him.

It's all about marketing.  Instead of calling him woefully soft and averse to physical proximity, let's refer to him as durable and a consummate Lady Byng candidate.

Yup, it's embarrasing.

I get that he didn't look great on the second goal and that the first was one of those ones that could go either way but Bernier has been hung out to dry on all three goals.

Refs ignore blatant contact with Bernier on the Habs 3rd goal.  Phaneuf with a weak hook AND the refs give him an extra 2-minutes.  That's unbelievable.  When Subban got nailed for the hook in the 1st period he did a hopping dance act on the ice and was slamming his stick on the ice.

I'm good with losing. I want to lose on an even playing field.  This is garbage from the refs.

Wow if nothing else happens on trade deadline day, the need to get Phaneuf out.

He has been just brutal tonight. Actually, the Leafs worst defenseman on the evening. It's hard to imagine there is any team interested. But then Clarkson got traded.

Last night, although the Leafs won and he scored, it was a 47 shots night against. A throw back to the Carlyle era.

I can't be with you there. Yeah, the Bernier thing was bad but that was a legit call on Phaneuf and the 2 extra minutes is probably on him.
