Campbell's stats took a beating in the Great Steel City Debacle.

I gotta agree with herman.  This has 40+ Leafs shots / no-goals written all over it.

I?m predicting a much needed win tonight for the good guys. It always surprises me how it sometimes takes a brutally embarrassing loss or two to get the focus back and the fire burning again. Let?s turn the corner tonight boys!! It?s only a matter of time before they start to execute.

The thing with this team is you never know who's going to show up and that includes Freddie, we all know Freddie is capable of stealing games but we also know he's capable of letting in real stinkers, same thing for the Leafs, they are in a slump but are very capable of snapping  out of it at any time, so who knows what's going to happen tonight, can't wait to see...lol

This. Everything at the net, those shots from impossible angles and those from center ice that only Hutchinson's, Andersen's and Toskalas are susceptible to.

We got this. They know his many, many weaknesses

I don't need a win but the effort better be there.  If we are losing this game it better be because we got Freddie'd and not that we get outplayed.

You better hope so or else have a real big napkin ready to wipe the egg off your face.

The fact that you have to post this tells you a lot about this team.  Same as it ever was.

Just the first line though. Everything else is garbage balls.

I like Kerfoot on the wing in the top-6. It's always where he's looked his best as a Leaf (and even as an Av) and while this goes for a lot of players the team needs more out of him especially after going through the trouble they did to sorta-protect him in the expansion draft. The 3rd line seems like the right combination of players for what that line's job is, although as that MLHS article pointed out the team does need the top-6 forwards to eat some of those minutes as well. And hopefully Ritchie playing 4th line minutes with Spezza can finally get him going.

I said it half jokingly last season, but really, Mitch Marner has turned into a defenseman: 20+ min TOI, production of a stay-at-home d-man.

I wouldn't be against this with very even minutes spread as the default, and then compress the lineup into your problem-solving units (stacked scoring, hard shutdown)
Bunting - Matthews - Ho-Sang
Kerfoot - Nylander - Kase
Ritchie - Tavares - Spezza
Engvall - Kampf - Marner

Our left side looks like it's a whole lot of the same kind of stuff. I miss old No hands wheels Mikheyev... Be nice if one of these bottom 6 forwards could emerge with a little offensive pop. 😕

PP could use a shot in the arm too. Probably too soon for call-ups but I sure liked the look of SDA or JHS's creativity

Andersen should not be in the same conversation as Toskala and Hutchinson
