I predict Clarkson falls down twice, takes 1 dumb penalty and gets 2 pts.

I'll go for falls four,  2 dumb penalties and one point. Not as sure of the last one as I am of  the first two..

They are making it easy to not watch the rest of this game.

My sleep quality has been so much better the last few weeks, getting a solid full night's sleep nowadays instead of surviving on 4 or so hours as I was when they were at least winning the odd game

Good on you.  Every cloud has a silver lining.

Polak at least is firing some shots.  He's a guy I'd keep if possible.

I don't think he has enough long-term value to the team to keep him over the potential long-term value of the assets you could get by trading him. If it's true that the board has given the green light to a full scale rebuild, Polak will be approaching an age where he's no longer effective by the time the Leafs are ready to really need him. Everyone over the age of 25 should be available.

He only has 1 year left on his contract after this one too, and I would guess he's unlikely to re-sign.

That's also true. I wouldn't be pushing him out the door at the deadline, but, I'd definitely be shopping him at the draft.

I'm all for the Leafs losing games, but, it doesn't have to be this embarrassing.

It's all about the 0 points, I don't care if these losers get embarrassed, I'd say most of them aren't even leafs for much longer. Embarrassing games are games in which they can't get a lucky bounce to get a game to OT and maybe win in shootout.

Points taken, gents.

I'd like to sign Clutterbuck cos his name sounds like Cluster***k and that pretty much sums up the Leafs
