Leafs @ Jets - Jan. 25th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Raptors lost too.  Terrence Ross tied Vince Carter's team record with 51 points in a game though.

Well, on the positive side of things it was impressive to battle back from 4-1 to get the point. That said they just did flat-out nothing with some pretty great opportunities tonight.

And if you had Buffalo as the team to end Columbus' win streak, claim your prize at the door.

Seems about right. Columbus feeling good about themselves, feels they can beat Buffalo without much effort and end up playing a stinker.

Yeah, 5 out of 8 on the road is OK.  Damn, I wanted them to win it tho'.

Yeah, I last looked and they had a 105-102 lead, came back after the Leafs game had finished and they lost by 8. Too bad. :(

That was a pitiful overtime. Just laid back.  Goaltending has been bad last 3 games.  Nice to get a point.  5 out of 8 on the trip isn't bad.

Caps 4, Habs 0? Wow, Montreal has really fallen off a cliff lately. Leafs may be able to jump up to 4th if they can get a point or two...

Carey "Olympic starter" Price with 5 straight games of 4+ goals.  4+ goals in 8 of his last 11 starts.

Yeah, its worrying. Subban has looked horrible defensively of late as well.

Well Luongo will be the starter and Subban will probably be one of the last defence men so nothing to worry about.

I just remember how shaky Luongo looked in the gold medal game in vancouver.... his nerves were shot. I was hoping for Price, quite frankly, to be the starter this olympics.

Yes cause nothing says "big game goalie" like Price's 9-17 playoff record.

He played pretty well for a guy whose "nerves were shot".

Regardless, there was no choice Yzerman had to make that would have made everyone super-happy and confident.

Over on HFboards (Boston) people getting on Phaneuf for ducking Byfuglien's hit. I call it smart. Only a dummy would want to get hit by that 260 pound beast.

Carter Ashton had another good game with limited ice-time.  He set up a goal.  Pretty much no ice-time though.

He ducked the hit, the puck went to the point, and they got a shot on net. When he's got the "C", and the contract he's got, he should have taken the hit along the boards and made the play.

I don't have a problem with Phaneuf ducking the hit, it seemed like good decision making at the time, but I have absolutely no idea what he was doing on the OT goal.

You would have been saying the exact opposite if their point shot had gone in.
