Leafs @ Lightning - Feb. 6th, 7:30pm - LeafsTV, TSN 1050

As much as we can say there is no evidence that an enforcer lets players play "bigger" well...did anyone else watch Kulemin mouth off to the tb bench then immediately skate to stand right beside Mclaren on the bench? Thats cause Mclaren will fight...haven't seen a player do that with Orr.

McLaren hasn't played since the midpoint of the 2nd period. Kulemin did that because he's a boss.

That's nonsense.  Fight when?  From the bench while the Lightning have a PP for the rest of the game?

Or, you know, he went there because that's where his other teammates that were still on the ice were standing and it had absolutely nothing to do with where McLaren may have been on the bench.

I agree Kulemin is a boss...but he still went straight to Mclaren...cause when your facing the whole tb bench...its good to know your enforcer has your back

You're probably right

I really liked that lineup.  Quick and versatile.  The forwards looked speedy tonight.  Glad Carlyle tried sitting Orr.  Probably wasn't any easy decision for him.

I understand what you mean but seriously why would it a hard decision for him?  That's what p*** es me off about RC.

That was a fun game.  Bernier was at his best.  Clarkson actually had a very good game.  He has tunnel vision with the puck though.  Kulemin seemed to be brutal on the draws but overall did well defensively in the role.

Kessel showed off his skill.  And while maybe that wasn't the best thing for Gleason to do, I'm glad he was stepping up for Bernier.  That was a pretty dirty run at the end of a 4-1 game.

I assumed there was an injury when Orr was sat.  Nice to see that it wasn't the case.  When Holland/Bolland come back after the break, I'm going to enjoy the lineup if this is a thing to come.

Tampa's arena is actually really nice and they do a good job of the pre-game stuff outside.

You went to this one too?
