Leafs @ Lightning - Mar. 20th, 7:30pm - TSN4, TSN 1050

Johnsson-Nylander-Hyman has been a solid line. Hyman on the right side looks like a different player.

Not unusual to see a guy playing his offside in his rookie season take a heavy dip in his shooting percentage playing a deferential role.

Guys the Leafs are dominating Tampa Bay without Auston Matthews. I hope we play them in the playoffs. Boston seems like a much more difficult opponent.

Tampa essentially had 4 players surrounding JVR and that still happened.

Sorry, it was 5 players.

That is the softest 1 2 on 5 ever.

Didn?t see Brown eclipsed there.

It's been a couple of times now where Babcock's put Nylander and Marner out on a 4-on-4 and it's so beautiful.

Open ice?  They own it.

Great pressure by the Leafs.

Even Polak had a nice play recovering a rim puck, and touching it softly to Gardiner behind the net for the exit instead of hammering it into the strong side seal.

#LateSeasonPolak is my favorite Polak.
It's kind of weird, I remember liking Polak late last season and when he got injured in the playoffs we actually said it was a big loss. Then regular season Polak was brutal this year, and now he seems to be back to being good again.

Polak comes alive when the PO are near.

He's the Reggie Jackson of defensemen.

Dave Lozo had a list of changes he'd make to the league and one of them was that if a period starts on the powerplay the opening face-off should be in the offensive zone. That was one of those that made me think... yeah, why isn't that a thing?
