Not that it's important, but isn't Orr's injury his elbow? If Orr comes in and D'Amigo sits, I'm going to cry. Though Bodie isn't going to challenge for the Hart anytime soon, he's at least had a couple of scoring chances and a goal.

Fixed. I'll be curious to see who sits for Orr as well. Wish 24/7 gets the coaches reasoning behind the decision when it happens. I'm hoping Bodie and D'Amigo get one more game though. With a short breaking coming up for Christmas after this game Carlyle might decide to give Orr some more time out.

I have always liked a good fighter, aka a Domi Kind. One who could play hockey and score. As for Orr and his twin puncher, they are not the kind of player that needs to be in the game. so lets hope Carlyle keeps him out for a bit longer. *ping* Nutman gets woke up. Carlyle sit his fav player, YA RIGHT!!!.

Cam Talbot gets the somewhat surprising start for the Rangers. He made 24 saves last night in a win against Minnesota to bring his season record to 7-2-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .936 SA%.

Caledonia boy, Carlton.

jonasTSN1050: Looks like Paul Ranger might get in tonight against the Rangers. Stay tuned.

That's definitely the answer to the team's problems! :-\

Huh, didn't know that. Used to go down to the fairs they had there when I was a kid.

At least it's not Fraser. I don't think a Liles/Ranger swap is all that bad, assuming it is Liles who is coming out of the line-up of course.

I wonder if maybe it's for Franson. Maybe he's not good to go.

If their backup is 7-2 and the team is below .500 the King Henrik must really be playing like a commoner this year.

Siegel says its Liles.

He's been very up and down. Some really good stretches. Some really poor stretches. He's struggling with consistency for maybe the first time in his career.

Don't really get why Liles is coming out. Carlyle seems to just not like him, can't leave him in for more than a couple games at a time. Just keep rearranging the bottom pair every couple games.

jonasTSN1050: Also looks like Colton Orr will return tonight from elbow injury. Troy Bodie likely to come out.

Well, at least it's better than D'Amigo coming out, though, I doubt he sees more than 4 minutes of ice time.

Bodie actually contributed a goal too.  Fought twice in a game. Can't keep that in the lineup when you have a chance to bring back a pointless guy who rarely fights anymore and can barely handle the puck. So much for earning it.

He looked pretty bad on the two goals that he was on the ice against for, so I had a feeling that he would come out. Granted, the rest of his play was alright but that's enough justification for Caryle.

Again, as long as it's Ranger coming in for Liles and not Fraser I'm alright with it. I think Ranger's more recent games have been pretty good, but he was being dragged down by his partner. I'm also hoping they keep him on the left side and Rielly on the right as that may have contributed to some of his consistency issues.

Fair enough. I'll keep an open mind to it.

Busta, do you know if the rosters expand during the trade freeze? Seems likely I guess. Otherwise Bodie would have to be sent down to make room for Orr.

Off the the CBA we go!

Looks like the answer is no. Within certain parameters, players can still be promoted/demoted. Since Bodie was recalled after December 11th and was not with the team for 30 days or played in 10 games since he last cleared waivers (he cleared waivers when he was sent back to the Marlies in November), he can be sent down by midnight tonight.
