Leafs @ Rangers - Feb. 5th, 7:30pm - SN, Fan 590

Disgusting effort.  Is Dubas even watching what the hell is going on?  Out of a playoff spot, no effort and worse goaltending.  His response?  Zero.

Tavares shouldn?t be captain.

Millen is a moron.  Defending Hutchison for a goal that the replay clearly shows was an unobstructed shot.  I can watch bad hockey.  I?m tired of listening to bad broadcasting

Millen is the Hutchinson of broadcasting.

As much as Hutch has struggled, he's not that bad.

Rather lost in all the Ceci-bashing (not that *I* have ever indulged) is that Holl has regressed in recent weeks.  That 3rd goal thing was stupid.

Did ya notice Matthews lost two consecutive face-offs that led to the goals. Win at least one 2-1.
Ceci is a real liability.  Overall Leafs had some great offensive shifts.  Looks like Rangers have found a new number 1.
Ok put Kaskisuo in.

Barrie in a great position to drop the puck off to the trailing player but instead takes a bad shot and gets nothing out of it.

Barrie, Muzzin, Ceci, Rielly.  They can all go.

Don?t forget dermott and  Holl and sandin they can go too

Cool story bro.

There's a reason he signed for what he did. Leafs still need a top RD man. Let's see what Dubas does... Soon we hope.

So long playoff chances.

Fire Dubas

Your posts are kind of useless, you know that?

Sorry you feel that way. This team is frustrating to watch.

Well, apologies for the overstatement.  I don't usually agree with you, but so what?  Still, Fire Dubas doesn't add anything, even you are frustrated.  That's what set me off.

This isn?t a surprise.  Hutch is terrible.  They are generally a bad defensive team and with even average goaltending the team is touch and go to win.  Add Hutch to the mix and this is what happens.  It may be better for the long run for them to miss the playoffs.  There will be takers for Barrie and Muzzin (assuming they can?t sign him) at the deadline. Come back next year fresh, but with a backup goaltender!

I mean, that's the consensus, right?  Yet there was a long discussion in one of the threads yesterday where people were saying they've been fine (or at least not terrabad) since Keefe took over.  I didn't get that at all.  The underlying reality is the same as it's been for ... years.  Like Burke said, a guy like Andersen can bail them out.  Lesser goalies, not a chance.

He lost the first one, clean...not sure that 2nd one was a loss since the puck went behind him towards his own blue line. On that face-off Zibanejad was his responsibility to tie up (which he did) and it was Kreider coming through that needed to be dealt with properly by the winger and/or D. Not even 100% sure why they're scoring that as a Zibanejad FO win (unless they treat that as a winger win?)

Leafs are coming home with Georgiev lol. This isn't a shock. Hutch is bad. End of story. Time for Kaskisuo. We all know without Freddie they're done.

I know what I sound like.  It?s not a mystery.  I appreciate the way you recognize it.  Most just ignore me, you offer sarcasm.  Thank you.

I'm not forced to watch blah, blah, blah.

But.

I really resent the team when they pull stuff like this, seems like a real lack of both physical and mental effort too often.

They aren't making the playoffs and if they do squeak in, get the brooms ready.

Too many players believing their own hype and unwilling to play a game that involves more than trying to pad their point totals.

Johnson has been horrific since his return.

Yeah, the last time we saw Kaskisuo was when they were belly-landing in The Last Days of Mike.  Bring him in tonight and let him roll.
