While obviously the Leafs are probably the better team than Buffalo, there's really nothing less likely to make me sure of a game's outcome than a goalie getting his first ever NHL start. The idea of the Leafs being good but Woll being shaky is pretty realistic.

Oh ye of little faith ... chew on THIS scenario:

Leafs decide they can take tonight off against a team they think's a pushover.

They get a big surprise.

Woll, however, rises to the challenge and notches a 60-save shutout for his first career NHL win.

?berteammate Jack Campbell is so happy for him that he blows out his groin trying to jump on Woll after the game's over.

Woll grabs the Leafs net and makes the most of it, smashing an NHL record by reeling off 12 more shutouts in a row.

Team USA has no choice but to name Woll their starter in the Olympics.

In Beijing, Woll continues the magic, becoming the first goalie in Olympic history to record a 0.00 GAA as he leads Team USA to a spectacular Gold Medal.

He's known ever after as ... The Great Woll of China.
