My gf came home after a few weeks away working and she bought me a Kessel game worn Jersey while on her travels

You can tell it's authentic because of the lack of sweat.

Hi, You're the next caller on blowing hot ice......

I feel like this is a huge game tonight to affirm the decent effort against SJ and Dallas and follow those up with a 60 minute performance and a solid win.

I look for all the D to pick up their socks as they can see that if Liles is steady, they might be the next scratch to let Rielly back in the lineup.

Leafs 2-0.  GLG.

Bernier
Fraser-Liles
Gardiner-Franson
Gunnarsson-Phaneuf

Obviously we are invoking Roger Neilson's Pyramid Power this evening.

So, no Rielly again? I hope the team is warming to the idea of sending him to the WJHC if he's likely to be in the press box for a good chunk of the foreseeable future.

I don't see it happening. Say he does and Gardiner gets injured. I just don't think they'll take that chance while they're competing for a playoff spot.

I obviously missed something, who brought up talk about Rielly and the WJHC?

I agree CTB, Rielly is staying in Toronto.

Healy pretty much just said that a possible Subban contract would be the starting point for Phaneuf talks because "he's been around a lot longer".

There's been some rumblings about it over the last week or so. It kind of coincided with all the talk about Liles coming up. It's not likely to happen, but, really, if he's spending more time in the press box than in the lineup, I'd send him, regardless of the potential roster issues should injuries arrive.

The Leafs haven't really said 110% that Rielly is staying, so until they do there's speculation he could go if the Leafs keep him in the pressbox.

I don't think Rielly has had a stretch of games that he's been sitting straight though, right? If it gets worse I'd agree, but I don't think he's missing enough time yet.

Oh... I thought they did, when they asked for him and the Leafs said no, maybe it was mentioned that we needed him here? I don't remember the exact quote, it was a bit ago.

Well, with tonight, it's 3 scratches in the past 5 games. If this is a trend that appears like it's going to continue (being scratched more than being dressed), I say send him to the WJHC.

I didn't think Reimer was 6-0 in Ottawa. Carlyle is becoming consistent with dressing the goalies based on the their numbers against teams.
