How? Woll is hurt and they've called up Petruzzelli from the Growlers. Campbell is still out, they need a goalie and this cost them nothing. They're not replacing Campbell... That's not happening
 
they could have rolled with Kallgren and Mrazek for a while... there must be more to this..

Sateri isn't a household name here obviously but he's had 5 straight seasons in the KHL where he put up a .920 Sv% or better and just won a Gold medal at the Olympics. I'd be pretty surprised if he crossed the ocean just to be an organization's #5 goalie for a month or two. With Mrazek on waivers and Campbell only starting to skate now I could see him getting a game in next weekends back to back.

That's def a possibility for sure but I think he goes to the Marlies. In guessing he's probably on a 1 way.

Byproduct of the Russia/Ukraine thing.  Come to North America.  Play in the AHL and get more eyes on you to potentially have more options as a free agent in the summer?
 
Bit of a shady move by Armstrong...wonder if he's pissed about Bunting.

EDIT: Nevermind, they did the Ritchie deal in the meantime.
