Awful shift by Marner. He?s been brutal tonight.

I'm just gonna stand here moving my head around. That's playing D, right coach?!

If that was Nylander he would never see the ice for the rest of the game.

He's definitely struggling to figure out how to play this style. It doesn't suit him, and it's impacting every facet of his game.

It?s not his instinct to play this way. i.e. thinking about what to do instead of just doing it. The NHL doesn?t allow for that kind of time most nights.

We'll just got back home I see I haven't missed much by all the posts. Another lack lustre effort brought to you by Babcock's coaching. Oh well hopefully things change soon.

Also, the whole recovering the puck instead of skating with it thing. He's not a guy who is ever going to excel at puck battles or heavy forechecking. He's a guy that needs to attack with speed.

Garbage PP. Komarov on it a part of that.

But yeah, the team is totally playing against the grain right now.  Trying to out-Wild a team like the Wild.

Missing Matthews? offensive gravity there a lot as their PK shaded Nylander to outside the circles.

There was a seam available to Nylander when Gardiner bumped to Marleau, but Marleau likes to shoot.

Well, I mean Greg "Softball" Millen roused himself enough there to declare that the dump and chase "isn't really working."

By far the most frustrating stretch of the Babcock era, watching them is absolutely no fun.

Yup. He's driving a team with a powerful engine, but not taking it out of 1st gear, it seems. I get what he's trying to do, but he needs to find a better way to do it. This one isn't going to work with this group.

I?m watching the Lightning @ Coyotes game now because I need a palate cleanser of a blue and white team dummying an animal logo?d team with waves of speed and goals.
