two minutes left, down by one. You know what  to do: have Martin out on the ice.  :-\

I'm not seeing the appeal in him through four games.  Energy guys should stand out.  That was a dumb signing.

I hope they bench Gardiner, he was awful. Otherwise I think the team an excellent game and should have at least got one pt.

It was adorable how affectionate Dubnyk was with his defence.

Three posts in the last couple of rushes by Nylander and Matthews. Defence needs work. Tonight was a good lesson in what a less talented team can accomplish with willful play and team structure.

Enroth's performance was okay, though that Dalpe goal was questionable on his (Enroth's) part.

Not the best game from anyone, except of course the duo of Nylander & Mathhews,  Polak with his blaster and Hyman on the PK.

One of those stinker games we shoulda, coulda, woulda, but didn't win.

Just one of many more to come this season I'm sure.

I still think Carrick was interfered with at the blueline on that goal and the Leafs should have been on the powerplay.  But we could only challenge the offside, but not the missed penalty.

Hunwick is officially the new whipping boy, he's an absolute anchor on whoever he's played with.

Rielly-Carrick
Gardiner-Zaitsev
Marincin/Hunwick - Polak/Corrado

That's what I'd try Saturday.

Somewhat interesting stat that I saw mentioned today and I didn't know where else to post it: through 4 games the Leafs have only trailed in the score for a little over 9.5 minutes. Washington is the only team to play behind for less than that at just over 7.5 minutes. The next team isn't even really close, Montreal at over 36 minutes. Anaheim has played behind the most this season at over 168 minutes.

Vancouver went 3-0 without ever having the lead.
