Leafs @ Wings - Mar. 18th, 7:30pm - SN, SN 590

only a one goal game, surely not pathetic.

It's a one-goal game largely because of Reimer and luck. The Wings could have had 3 goals in the final minute or two of the period alone.

Yeah definitely, Reims has been very good, but as many chances as Detroit has had, they don't look particularly dangerous to me.

In the bigger picture going 2-3 on what was billed as the toughest road trip of the year (and probably was) would not be a disaster.  It's just frustrating when they keep giving glimpses of taking the next step and being a team that regularly wins the kind of game they were presented with tonight.  Instead they just struggle with the same old mistakes.

I don't know about that, but having like what, 5 NHL forwards dressed might do that I guess.

Nyquist looks dangerous, Franzen at times. I think Howard has been pretty good also.

It's a one goal game against a team that has 12 guys that played in the AHL this season in the lineup tonight.

Absolutely garbage play by Lupul on that goal. He's gotta start putting half an effort into his game.

Great shot, but given the angle, Reimer has that if he plays the angle right.

None of it will matter, however, unless the Leafs threaten to score a goal. Let's get our 10 point man back on the second line for some well earned minutes.
