It works out for all parties involved really. Komarov got a chance to get his feet wet playing on North American ice for a little while and now he gets to go back to Russia and make a little more coin while still maintaining his level of play for when the lockout ends. And now the Marlies get a chance to maybe give a little more playing time to a guy like Brad Ross. Although Frattin is apparently going to be cleared to play any day now, so it might just mean nobody gets pushed out of the line-up when he returns.

Yes, but we have to be sure this guy is coming back, his kind of abrasive nature and scoring touch do remind me of Darcy in his heyday. He could be a real addition to the Loafs.

Apparently he wants an out clause in his KHL deal if lockout ends, and the KHL team doesn't want to give it to him.  So he's here until he works out his contract with the KHL I guess.
