Komarov got a chance to get his feet wet playing on North American ice for a little while and now he gets to go back to Russia and make a little more coin while still maintaining his level of play for when the lockout ends. And now the Marlies get a chance to maybe give a little more playing time to a guy like Brad Ross. Although Frattin is apparently going to be cleared to play any day now, so it might just mean nobody gets pushed out of the line-up when he returns.
