Rielly actually had a good game minus the couple of brain farts.Get 44 off
Like I said, that stick play around Point was wicked.Wowowowow.
I can't believe Kucherov missed those two.
What a nice play by the captain to set up Knies

7. He's actually played well since Carlo came on board. The OT thing happens. He made a great retrieval off his shot and passed it to 34.The play in OT was ... something.
I only caught the last 15m of the 3rd and OT but they said he blocked a bunch of shots.

Like I said I missed most of the game. What are everyone's impressions? Was the run of play pretty even? I saw the Hedman PP goal and looks like they got another.

That’s just the nature of 3v3 OT. Most players who get the overtime assignment will hammer the gas pedal for one or two drives, and try to reserve as much as they can on the defensive side in hopes of another push the other way (Willy style).Def. Watch that backcheck by Kuch...he eventually made it back to the blueline and where was Hedman going?
I didn't catch the 1st, but Tampa controlled the puck a lot in the 2nd. Didn't generate a ton of high quality chances, as the Leafs did a pretty solid job of defending the slot and net-front, as well as not letting pucks through. 3rd period was more even, for sure, with both teams having stretches where they controlled the play.Like I said I missed most of the game. What are everyone's impressions? Was the run of play pretty even? I saw the Hedman PP goal and looks like they got another.
Tampa's 3rd period was certainly helped by the officiating. They started the 3rd period on the PP. Tavares got high sticked drawing blood and the refs had to review the play to actually call the penalty because they missed it initially. Then they Cernak got to pull Knies off the PP by punching him multiple times until Knies retailliated. They got a PP off the Domi trip (when Domi wouldn't have been on the ice if Knies wasn't pulled off). Then they got the powerplay off the McMann crosscheck (legitimate penalty) while ignoring the crosscheck on Robertson that happened at the same time. The three powerplays they ended up with kept giving them momentum when the Leafs took it back.
