Liljegren looked good during the injury catastrophes but hasn't been great since guys came back into the lineup

With respect, I don't think that's a tough question. I think it's a silly one. He's established himself as one of the best goal-scorers in history already. Ovechkin, of 800+ goals, had two back-to-back seasons of 32 and 38 goals, right in his prime.

Oh I'm just being purely tongue in cheek.  Matthews isn't having one of his typical special season years but he's really not getting puck luck so far.

I?d be really tempted to put him back with Marner again just to see if he can find his old form.

Like Marner, he's been good and bad

I love Philly fans.

If they'd boo Santa, they'd definitely show displeasure with the PP

It's hard to explain ... I worked there briefly and also worked long-distance with a group based there and have some friends now.  They have a different kind of edge than New Yorkers, more appealing, with a much better sense of humor (see Gritty).  The bad-temperedness is partly a show for outsiders, but also a way to bond with each other.

They like to test you by giving you sh*t when you first meet them, but if you give it right back then you are one of "them" right away.

C'mon Matthews do something. Took him again on my Fanduel expecting him to hit the scoreboard and 1 shot on goal with the Leafs scoring 5 to this point. Brutal.

Classic Tavares-Islander style goal: cleaning up a mess with a roof job.

I really don't mind if Matthews has an "off year" by his standards if he gets hot down the stretch and into the playoffs. I'll take 20 playoff goals from Matthews over 60 regular season goals 😉

I agree with Torts. The NHL Allstar game is a joke. Poulin disagreeing. Hey Dave maybe the Allstar games were different 30 years ago. I agree with Dregs it's for the fans, sponsors etc but the whole weekend is nothing to get excited about. It's gone downhill over the years.
