Errruuuhhhhhhhh i cant decide

I?d vote Nylander?s and not because I am overwhelmingly biased.

1) Marner?s play was lucky (he has terrible positioning if it doesn?t work) and his skill allowed him to stay with the puck
2) who had to do more work to score? Tavares arguably had to hustle in and put a good shot on the pass. Matthews just had to glide in with his stick down.

Actually I agree with you.  Nylander had the narrowest of windows to make that pass and he had the patience/vision to do it after swooping in.

That said, Marner fishing out the puck while dancing sideways and then plunking it out to Tavares was also universal.

Like all Marner vs Nylander discussions, the answer is: we are lucky to have both

JT with fantastic work to start and end the play.
Robertson with the right idea and put enough mustard on that pass to force it through.
Marner with slick edgework to stay on the puck and open himself up for the maximum number of passing options. Perfect feed.
