You're welcome.

based on the highlights I'll go with Beast and one final vote for Benoit, who put some shots on goal. I was rooting for him to succeed but I think they need to move on. Same for a lot of guys.

SEASON RECAP

TOP 10 POINTS GETTERS:
Woll 71
Nylander 50
Matthews 43
Tavares 37
Robertson 36
McCabe 36
Stolarz 35
Knies 31
Hildeby 30
Cowan 21

Ekman-Larsson 19 was 11th — for my money, he was underappreciated in the MotM voting, arguably our best D-man

NOTABLE DISAPPOINTMENTS
Jarnkrok 2 (I think that came in G1 or G2!)
Joshua 5
Roy 9
You could name more skaters (including 34) but these guys were in the lineup game in and game out and couldn't crack double digits

Benoit 4
Carlo 4 (maybe Tre's worst trade ... what a cipher he's been)
Myers 1
And yes, Rielly 10

UP AND DOWN WINNER
Stecher: It was fun while it lasted

MOST BERUBEED
Laughton 17

For my money, the team MVP was Tavares. He went through his usual mid-season slump and shouldn't really be playing C any more but he just keeps on doing what he does well pretty darn well. Woll a close second, but it's hard to judge his performances (esp. later in the season) because the team checked out.

First of all...Thx ZBBM for your dedication to the MOTM Thread!

I think Woll was their MVP. They actually started looking decent when he started playing. I think he was very good all year long and he was durable. Def won't hold the end against him when the team checked out.
Tavares, MVP for the skaters and because of his consistency.
Robertson for effort. No one tries harder.
Cowan for most improved.
McCabe for our best D man. He had a rough spell here and there, like everyone else, but overall he was great. Lead the league in blocked shots.
Biggest disappointment was Stolarz. Forgot how to play goal and is hurt way too often.
There are many more but we all know who they are.
Surprise of the year was Beast for me. He looked like a legit NHL goalie where previously he looked like a guy just trying to survive.

Let's see what the off season brings. Can't be worse lol.

I know he has his faults and warts and detractors but I still probably give the MVP to Nylander. Led the team in scoring by a pretty considerable margin even while missing 17 games, 100-point scoring pace, tied for 11th in the league in points-per-game, best 5-on-5 production of his career. All that without his previous safety blankets in (prime) Matthews and Marner.
