Do we know yet where the Cup Finals will be played?  It just occurred to me that either the Eastern or Western finalist is going to have to move from their bubble for the finals.

I'm pretty sure that from the 3rd round on, they will all be played in Edmonton. That means 2 teams will have to move their bubble out west.

Yeah conference finals are all in Edmonton. Guess it's more fair so the Eastern teams have a round to get used to the time zone switch.

Anyone else find that now that the 1st (2nd...) round is almost done, that the games are starting to blend in together?  Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to flip the TV on and watch hockey during this time, even in the summer.  But with the generic setting and no fans in the crowd, the lustre has worn off for me.  While intense, they don't have that true playoff feel in which a team will be raising the Cup over their heads in about 6 weeks time.  I'll obviously still watch, but just saying.

I had a hard time getting into it from the start. Just not the same without fans. I watched the Isles, Caps game last night and that was the worst game. Boring, no chance hockey sucks.

So seems like the NHL is officially considering the round-robin/play-in games as playoff games... leading to records being "broken" like this.

Really good read about how bubble life has been for the players from ESPN.
