He needs to play. He can't sit out until the playoffs cap or no cap.

No one said he shouldn't play until the playoffs. But he doesn't need to play 2 games in 3 nights when he's already banged up and the leafs postseason success is heavily based on his abilities.

Depending on when the playoffs start I might be inclined to sit him against Tampa.  We don't need Maroon or Perry falling on top of him during a meaningless Game 0 of the playoff series.  But if the Leafs aren't playing until Tuesday in the postseason I might be inclined to start him against the Rangers.
 
It doesn't matter much but they pretty much neutralized a team fighting for its life.
 
Well take the point hopefully pull it off. I actually don't mind Florida winning worse draft pick for the Habs and I think they can upset someone in the playoffs. Defence is suspect their style but they can put the puck in the net and if they can get some decent goaltending could surprise.
