Well, if the idea is to keep Samsonov busy we're doing a bang-up job.

He looks like he's uncomfortable and on the verge of getting injured on almost every shot. I know cap gymnastics and all, but he shouldn't be in.
He needs to play. He can't sit out until the playoffs cap or no cap.

Depending on when the playoffs start I might be inclined to sit him against Tampa.  We don't need Maroon or Perry falling on top of him during a meaningless Game 0 of the playoff series.  But if the Leafs aren't playing until Tuesday in the postseason I might be inclined to start him against the Rangers.
ATO is what will probably be done tomorrow.

Tavares is consistently horrible at 3 on 3.  He can't win footraces and just is an automatic turnover if the Leafs aren't already in full possession.

:)

I'm teasing, I felt the same.

Yup terrible ..JT with a 2:26 shift and the winner.

The whole time Florida had the puck is because both him and Nylander getting outworked, outhustled for the puck. At the beginning of their shift the puck came out and JT should have had possession for the Leafs but outmuscled and then it was literally 2 minutes of Florida possession. Brutal and shame on Keefe for not putting Knies out there for at least a shift.

This is stupid on virtually every level

Definitely didn't deserve the 2 points. Islanders losing to Washington. They play Habs Wednesday Florida finishes with Carolina. and Pitts 2 games left against Columbus and Chicago. Going to be interesting.

Guys always got something to say. What did I post? Rewind the last 3 minutes and tell me what you see. The puck was moved out by one of our defensemen and JT should have easily took possession but got it stolen and then we watched Florida almost end it for 2 minutes. Sure it worked out but there was no reason we should have got hemmed liked that. Possession is key in OT.

It is literally impossible to be whiny about the Leafs winning on a night where they have absolutely nothing to play for.

Or at least you'd think so.

I don't know where Tavares found the energy on that goal but that was a beauty of a finish
