Thanks both. I was looking for it in the rule book and lost patience.

The hockey Canada rulebook actually says that you can?t stand in the crease prior to the puck entering the crease so I thought the nhl would be the same.

That used to be the standard, but, outside of the Skategate era, it?s never been strictly enforced.
