Phil Kessel

Kessel got a point and that guy wins the bet.

Indeed I did up deciding that the maximum loss I could swallow was $300, so I bet $20.  Even after he accepted the bet, for some reason he threw Bozak into the deal too, so that BOTH Bozak and Kessel had to go pointless in 6. So it was actually with Bozak's assist on the first goal that the wager was already decided.  Oh well, a fool and his money...

You should have had a scale of money to win, like if Bozak + Kessel combine for only 1 point you get a certain amount, if they get 2 points you get more and so on.  :D

I think you owe all of us that told you to do it some beers. Only seems fair to me.  ;)

Kessel with another second assist last night. Who does he think he is - Sundin?

20 points in 13 games.  If he only gets a point a game from here on in he finishes with 90 points, pick it up Kessel.

Its actually 21 points in 13 games.

The scoring drought is now at 3 games. Ten goals in ten games and now none in 3.

Do you just jest about this 'scoring drought' or are you actually that dense?  (and I say that with no ill will towards you... just wanting to clarify).

It was a joke, when was the last Leaf to hit 90 points?  (Sundin 96/97)

Tongue is firmly in cheek

My 6 year old son isn't really (yet) into watching hockey on TV, but whenever he walks in the room and the Leafs game is on, he yells "GIVE IT TO KESSSEELLLL" and walks away.

;D

His ice time has dropped a little. I don't know if it's the leg bothering him or the fact that the Grabo line has come on a bit but it's something I've noticed.

Has anyone noticed how utterly invisible Bozak has been since not playing on the first line with Kessel?

I think that 3rd line could really start clicking once Armstrong returns. There is some good chemistry between Bozi & Army.

To be honest, I thought he was completely invisible while playing with the first line as well, except for the fact that he was typically on the ice while Kessel and Lupul were setting up plays.

I think if your third line centre is invisible, that's a good thing in a way.  Kinda like a defensive defenceman.  If you notice him, it's for the wrong reason.  Although, Bozak did have trouble with Johanson on the Columbus goal.

Pretty cute stuff. Now, when he's older and walks in to a boardroom and does that, I think it might be a sign you've damaged him.  ;D
