I am actually more up for this coming season than for a long while, I like the additions and nice to Roberston and Knies working out.  Hope they can keep making intelligent choices  (excepting Reaves)

Maybe it's happened before but an unsigned/undrafted rookie camp invite actually getting into a pre-season game feels pretty rare.

I feel like it happens more frequently in team's first couple pre-season games, but typically not this close to the end of camp. Usually, these guys are sent back to their junior team by now.
 
Is the total cap hit of this line up lower than Matthews' next AAV?

Edit: it comes in around 25M
Logan Shaw is on a Marlies deal, Spencer Sova and Matteo Pietroniro are invites, and Noah Gregor is on a PTO.

Forwards alone come in at over $15mil. Although if we want to talk about what a couple of those guys' cap hits should be...
 
Samsonov with a clean slate is a good omen. Only two periods and it's against AHL-caliber shooters, but it's something Woll & Jones haven't been able to do so far.
