If I had to pick two factors that could decide this one:

1.  Playoffs Vasi ? yes or no?
2.  Can the Core 4 deliver in an elimination game?  Their numbers to date have been pretty awful.

I don't get too excited watching the Leafs anymore. I am literally at the point where I need them to do something before I am back in. If they win the first round I am ALLLLLL in and will daydream of a Stanley Cup but not before a first-round win.

Hold on, hold on. The EBUG plays if either team runs out of goalies, right? So Tampa could run out of goalies tonight and then... Kallgren steps in net?  That can't be right ? he would just let everything in on purpose.

That's a good way of looking at it. From my perspective, the management group has put together an entertaining, competitive team that has been fun to watch this season. Sure, I hope they do some winning in the playoffs, but I'm satisfied with the plan and the product regardless.

Absolutely agree. This is one of the most talented teams the Leafs have ever had. Watching players like Nylander, Matthews, Marner, and JT night in, night out is truly a treat. We've been very lucky. Dubas has done an outstanding job. Like I said hopefully they get rewarded this year.
