Like the past two games, I just want to see an honest effort. No assuming defeat before the puck gets dropped like we've seen so often in big games.

If they give it their all and lose, so be it. Just don't quit until the final buzzer sounds.

True but this time we may have the difference maker in Woll, if we get get off to a slow start like we have in the past and Woll is on his game he can keep us in it and maybe steal one. Something we haven't had the last few years and it's a great feeling.

Even with Woll in net, a poor effort will be a killer. Boston?s going to come out strong, and if the Leafs can?t at least match it, with how much they?re struggling to score, they could easily find themselves in a hole they can?t dig out of. Can?t expect Woll to keep holding them to 1 goal a game. That?s not a recipe for success.

That's what some said about Bobrovsky last year, yet we pelted him with 52 shots in game 5 and lost, a hot goalie can make all the difference, it's the one position in hockey that can truly change a team from loser to contender. Fingers crossed...lol

Boston will choke again, losing a game 7 at home.

Woll will steal this series.

Would be nice for the PP to ignite.

Also, let Matthews rest, we need him at the Florida Series.

Made me laugh...well done.
Enjoy the show tonight!

Keep the lines that are working together

Bertuzzi-Domi-Marner
Knies-Tavares-Nylander
Dewar-Kampf-Jarnkrok

Add
Holmberg-Matthews-McMann in the exact same sheltered role and just laugh

I might do McMann - Matthews - Reaves...what the hell does Boston do with that 4th line?

I doubt McMann is a go anyways.

The difference is the Panthers didn?t quit the way we?ve seen the Leafs do so frequently. A poor effort will sink the team, regardless of who is in net. A strong effort gives them a chance.

McMann ruled out for tonight. Matthews answers are as status-quo (so basically no go)

I thought they looked better without Reaves last game and I know he hasn't been great, but I think there is an argument to be made for him in this game.

With that crowd revved up, you know that gorilla Marroon and his friends are going to be running around.

Maybe give Robertson a rest?

I think I'd be worried about that if Maroon could catch up to anybody.

I think I'd rest Gregor before Robertson, but I agree with you.

I can go either way regarding Reaves and don't think it will make much difference if he is in or out of the lineup tonight. He WILL be in for game 1 against Florida, though.

Robertson has a very danger shot, I'd keep him.

C'mon Knies, channel your inner Allyn McCauley/Gary Roberts.

GO LEAFS GO!!!

Once things tightened up, Reaves started to become more of a liability than an asset. Even against Florida, after a couple games, he won?t have a positive impact after the first game or two. Toughness/physical play hasn?t been an issue with the team in the playoffs so far. Offence has been, and he doesn?t help there.

Also, if Matthews and McMann are good to go, there?s no way he should get into the lineup, unless there?s other guys who can?t go.

Probably panic and put out a bad matchup. But as you say, that line almost certainly doesn't happen.
