Skipped the first, saw it was 0-0 and figured I'd pop in for a while (just in time for the goal). I like the lines being switched up, might  make them all pay more attention (though it sounds like Detroit had plenty of chances in the first?). Knies play has been slipping of late so good to see someone else get a shot there.

I really like Knies but his 16 points playing with Marner/Nylandee/Matthews.  He shouldn't have a lock on that spot.  He's still a rookie but it's a notable drop off from the 50+ points we usually get out of that winger

I love what Knies brings but he needs to produce especially playing with Matthews. Knies has only 4 more points then Robertson who's played 13 less games, almost 4 mins less a game and not with Matthews.

Yeah, I can't tell if the new lines are working or Detroit is just bad. Anyway, up by one is still a good spot to be.

In all fairness, the first period was mostly special teams, so tough to get into a groove with your new linemates.
