Round 1: Canadiens (A1) vs. Senators (W1)

Wow. Refs really helped the habs out there by giving Turris a roughing call to negate the 5-on-3. The butt end should have been 5 mins, probably not the slash. I wonder if supplemental discipline happens if Stone's hand is broken.

That was an idiotic play by both Legwand and Ceci. After all the BS dirty play of the last five minutes, Habs come out even on the scoreboard.

Yeah, I like PK, but his antics tonight have been embarrassing, both on his response to that penalty and the high stick from the first period.

He performed the same routine against the Leafs on Saturday when he was called for a clear penalty, he makes it so hard to like him.

EDIT: I should also add that Therrien seems like the worst coach for that kind of thing too, he's never had a player commit a legitimate penalty.

Hammond has been pretty weak tonight. Not on that goal specifically, mind you, but 4 goals to the weak offense of the habs?

4 goals, Hammond has collapsed, the bubble has burst, Habs are all over him.

3 goals, Carey is just majestic, look at how beuatiful his eyes are, he's seen it all before, won the Olympics single handedly for Canada.

The CBC crew ladies and gents.

Bad slash. Hell of a performance by Stone.

They're both winners.

How is it a hell of a performance from Stone?  Every time he has touched the puck he clearly has no strength in his wrist.

Oh I don't doubt it hurt. He just made extra sure everyone knew it.

If he'd come back and stayed the entire time Id probably agree with you.

I don't doubt he was genuinely hurt/scared when that happened, doesn't strike me as the overselling  type.
