absolutely that stick's fault
Famously calm Carey Price being calm.

I do admire how calmly he picked up the stick and handed it off.

Especially how he very calmly placed the shaft of the broken stick on top of his net after calmly kicking the puck away.

He's in his own head. Not a good thing for a goalie. Usually.

Gonna assume this is just a simple "Jack got the day off for rest" thing but we'll see what Keefe says.

Didn't look like he did anything during the game so I hope its just give him the day off because they are expecting him to play the back-to-back.....hopefully.

This team down Tavares and down Campbell with Freddy in net has me a lot more concerned about the series.

Hmm. I saw people suggesting Foligno might go to C but I really didn't expect it.

Hmm. I saw people suggesting Foligno might go to C but I really didn't expect it.

I almost would have tried Brooks there. He's a hard worker. Maybe he finds a little chemistry with Foligno and Nylander.

Galy already has chemistry with Nylander so they need a puck retriever and Foligno fits that bill. Matthews' line pretty much dominated so i see why Keefe doesn't want to brek them up. Funny thing, the old man line was our best with an 80% corsi. Unfortunate that Thornton's turnovers ended up in the back of the net.

Interesting thought but when he played with Matthews (last game of the year, I think? In place of Marner) he looked completely out of his element. I'd rather stick with someone like Foligno (let Foligno/Nylander split faceoffs maybe) and put Brooks in on the 3rd or 4th line for a game or two before throwing him onto line 2.

Or just move Nylander to center, and have Foligno on his wing.  Nylander can roam and Nick can hold down the fort.

No..Willy isn't good a centre. Foligno has played there before. Willy can roam enough all over the ice but Foligno is probably better defensively. Third line should be a lot better and be very fast. Nash doesn't belong there. He's a 4th liner/PKer especially with Tavares out and his lack of offence.
