Round 2: Montreal Canadiens vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

I find it humorous that a goal is called back against Montreal for pushing the goaltender when they appear to be the team that makes the most effort to make contact with opposing goaltenders.

They must have bumped Bishop half a dozen times at least. They're gonna get called for that eventually, right?

Yet Therrien has complained this season about opposing players bumping Price too much.

Ah, praising Stralman.  If only....

Man I was praying the Leafs would have signed him when he hit UFA. Would have completely changed our defence.

Well, you know, I've been pretty critical of Gardiner, but the experience with Stralman teaches us to be patient with a capital P when you've got a young d-man with demonstrable skill.  I'll try to remember that next season.

So Stamkos finally scores.  That could mean trouble for Montreal if he gets going.

Glenn Healy: Montreal's SH% was 11th in the regular season and it's so low in the playoffs, I just don't understand.

It's almost like being the lowest scoring team to make the playoffs might translate into trouble scoring . . .

Hey look, Habs ran over Bishop again.

It's not running over the goalie if the goalie gets in your way.  How is Montreal supposed to skate into the crease?

This Johnson.  He is rather awesome.

From what I've read, he seems like a pretty good Marner comparable. Small (although Marner's bigger), fast, insanely talented, high intensity player who competes hard in both zones.

Are you trying to convince me that they should take Marner over Hanifin?  :)  I'm assuming Strome goes to AZ.
