Round 2: St.Louis Blues vs Los Angeles Kings

I don't get the flack for the king touch?  It was barely a hit and more of a bump to the back, he didn't even follow through and finish check. Pietrangelo fell forward about 3 feet or more to boards, it isn't King's job to teach him how to stand up.  Now all I hear from Blues is about a 3rd liner taking out their star??  Is there now a rule that 3rd liners can't touch stars??  And generally speaking dooesn't the 3rd line of one team play regularly play against top lines. IE a checking 3rd line.  Not relevent here as player was a D

I know this is the best he's played in a really long time, but Penner is really making a fan out of me. Still hope Burke looks into him this summer if he's available.

I really wouldn't count out Pheonix yet.  They're a ho hum team playerwise but there is real feeling of momentum with these guys.  They score when they need to, their goalie saves when he needs to.  It's like a team of density ...........

You could say the same for LA though.

They are definitely very similar teams. I think LA had the edge in goal scoring though. And while I haven't watched Phoenix as much as I have LA, I haven't noticed much physical activity from them and I don't think they've really been challenged physically yet. And LA had the huge advantage in that area I think.
