Wasn't bad enough that they allowed themselves to be embarrassed in the outdoor game, now they want to roll over and give up the season sweep? This team's gutless.
Yeah ok. They're gutless now...overreact much?
And they didn't get swept...
even that 1st game they won in Nov...they were the worse team in that game.  how you give up 19 goals in 4 games to Buffalo is beyond me

At some point you have to wonder if some of the blame should be directed at Keefe in regards to how flat and pathetic we play against weaker teams. I could see if the games have no bearing etc but when you're playing basically most of your regulars and are still battling for positioning and play this way there should be a concern.

I can't believe that Nylander only has Engvall to pass to, can't believe that Kampf is still on the 3rd line. TO could use decent d but it could also use good goaltending and more scoring depth.

Giordano is an alright player but he's TO's newest Foligno, a defensive player when more quality depth scoring is needed.

Liljegren looked good.  He really should be starting in the postseason at this point.  Stop doing experiments to find a pairing that works for Holl.

Rielly Brodie
Liljegren Giordano
Muzzin Lyubushkin

The Peafs really didn?t play Buffalo well in any of their games.

This team always struggles against Buffalo. Doesn?t matter how good either team is.

It?s crazy but I am infinitely more comfortable with the Leafs playing Tampa or Boston in the playoffs than if they were to play Buffalo. You could make the case that the worst thing for the Leafs in the playoffs the last couple of years is that they squared off against mediocre teams.

When facing bottom feeder teams in the regular season, we should just roll out a training camp roster of players on the bubble who need to show something to stick around longer.

Didn't help that last night was the epitome of a trap game. Tuesday night, team just clinched a playoff spot, coming off a stretch where they played mostly against teams fighting for playoff sports or among better teams in the league, against a weak opponent, etc. Just gotta put this one behind them and move on.

I mean I'm certainly not going to sky is fall over it, but it is disappointing that they didn't want to have a statement game.

Kallgren wasn't bad by any means in the game and its especially hard to blame him for the 4th goal where a player gets a wide open net but we keep having games where the opposition goalie makes bigger saves than our goaltender.  With Campbell being perpetually injured I'm going to be pretty frustrated if we bow out in the playoffs because Swayman outplays our netminder.

3 of 4 points against Florida, dominate Boston, T Bay, Jets, Stars. Those were statement games. Losing to Buff is a nothing to me. Some teams just have other teams numbers. I'm also pretty sure they wanted to win the game but it doesn't always happen.
Also not concerned with Kallgren. Made some good saves and wasn't the blame on any goals. Anderson was good but he had a horseshoe up his you know what last night. Jack will be ready for the playoffs.

Jack "might" be ready for the playoffs.  I need to see a few more starts before I'm confident in pencilling him in for a 7 game series.  He's had four appearances since coming back from injury and while I think he has looked good he has a 3.48 GAA and .891 SV% in those four appearances.  2.64 GAA and .905 SV% in his three scheduled starts.

Boston lost to St. Louis and TBay got blanked by Dallas. Shit happens to every team except maybe Florida who have massive horseshoes this year.

Really astonishes me how some here don't see an issue with last night. It's not a one time thing against weak teams. For some of your guy's comments it's head scratching. Bender ya Boston lost, TB lost but those teams they lost to are playoff teams and decent teams. Guilt Trip losing to Buffalo is nothing to me. I don't get some of these comments. I don't expect them to win 82 games but there is a distinct problem with how this team gets up for non playoff teams. I can see losing to Montreal, Buffalo, Arizona etc etc during a season but we have blown numerous amount of points against teams battling for the 1st overall pick and others near the bottom of the standings. As far as the players comments when grilled about their lacklustre performances against sh*t teams sorry don't agree with the players. Grab the bull by the horn and run with it. If they played half ass against these scrub teams we'd be battling for 1st in the conference and maybe 1st overall but hey that doesn't mean sh*t to some. Hopefully the players back up their comments with a long run in the playoffs. We'll have to wait and see.

Florida has fourteen OT/SO wins
