Craig had a good observation there.  That last play did look like vintage JT.  Hopefully his hand strength is back.
 
Tavares standing around in the Leafs end doing nothing, which seems to be his MO these days. He needs to massively improve his conditioning.
 
Good defence boys. Tavares turns away from Risto. Team doesn't hit at all. Frustrating to watch. F me. Had a chance to rub out Eichel in the corner and maybe get the puck back but we shy away from any contact.
 
What was Rielly doing on that goal. He was way out of position. He is the left D and that where the guy came from.

I argue with a buddy of mine all the time. He says theres something about Matthews he doesn't like. Figures the desire and compete is not there for a guy with his talent and salary.
Starting to think he's right.
Kid has all the tools but something is missing.
