Sabres @ Maple Leafs - Dec. 15th, 5:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

I feel a bit for him in that he’s been called up while not playing that well in the AHL, which is where he should be so he can learn to play through such stretches.

It’s not setting him up for success to bring him up at this stage.

I can't be too hard on him, he's still learning and like you say Arn really belongs in the AHL. My bigger concern is the offense, which is "offensive" only in the sense that it resembles a pile of dog leavings.

Hey Domi can score....that's a depth goal!

Good for Robertson to get a point too. With the heavy passenger load happening in the bottom 6 there is still a spot to win/hold on to

Agreed but what other choice did they have? The Russian guy is on fire, but you run the risk of calling him up and he gets lit up and tank his confidence. Ol' 'Splody Bones Woll is a risk in back to back situations.
I guess ideally Murray would be the one, but I’m not sure how that works with waivers and all that. And I think he was also hurt recently? That’s why Jones was useful as the third last season cos really it didn’t matter so much if he sucked in terms of developing our goalie pipeline.

I think the plan is to stash Murray in the AHL until playoffs. Pretty sure he would need to clear waivers to go back down. Not that he has been that great but teams love to mess with the Leafs with the waiver wire.
