Sharks @ Leafs - Oct. 22nd, 6:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

One team is playing their second game in less than 24 hours.  The other is the team putting in a mediocre effort despite being down 2 goals.  This team has problems

They don?t seem to have that urgency gear

Down 3-2 against a team that they should be winning against.  Same old story: no killer instinct.

That's why I said after the playoff exit that major changes needed to be done. Management too blind to see it. On a happier note best thing to the start of this season is the Habs are winless.

Really the question is whether 34/16/91/88 have what it takes to grab important games by the collar and will their way to a win.  They failed miserably last April and so far tonight they haven't shown it.  Sure, this is early season and not all that important in itself.  But once again they don't look like a team that can dominate.

I fear the answer is no.

This is the last year they have a chance to prove otherwise, IMO.

What's that U of T goalie up to?  Surely he can't be any worse than Hutch.

F'kn pylon would probably be better.

Leafs should be dominating?.coming off 4 days rest against a team playing 3 in 4.  I knew hutch would give up a bunch but the leafs should be out gunning them.  And they aren?t.  Maybe they?ll turn it up when it?s too late as usual

And the only real tradeable option is their current best player and deserves the least to be traded.

What a dumb move by Holl after a bad giveaway by Muzzin.  The effort from the team sucks

Our D tonight has looked awful, from the net out.  And not one of the big 4 has looked the least dangerous.

Was a crosscheck but I don't get how the ref who was right there doesn't call it but the other does? Anyway don't be surprised if it's 5-2 coming up.

This is the defining season for this team and so far it doesn't look good, 5 games in and has our top line scored yet?
