Stanley Cup Final Chicago (1) vs Boston (5)

Quite a few players played for both Boston and Chicago in their careers, some for a lengthy time with one team and a short time with the other or vice versa.  From the early thirtys to the modern era, how many can you identify with?  From the NHL's youngest player 16 yr. old Bep Guidolin to banged up Bobby Orr, here is the list:

For all the type and bytes wasted on how Phil Kessel was so intimidated
and beaten by Chara, I hope those that adhered to that claptrap have taken notice of what Chara has done in Rounds 2 and 3.

Apparently Chara can actually defend well against other players in the NHL as well.

And Phil outscored every other "superstar" that Z shut down....

Chicago very sloppy so far they're looking like Pittsburgh who got dominated because they couldn't match the Bruins team game

I like how Chara is incredulous about going to the box for cross-checking someone in the face...but rules don't apply to me I'm so big I just can't help it!

Both teams will up their game when they need to.

Should be a great series.

People ripping into Chicago for only having one one-timer option on the point for the powerplay. I'm still amazed at the lack of attention the Leafs got for having zero there all season long.

I think they were also talking about the wingers not having one timers. Didn't we often have one with Lupul or someone else?

I've been theorizing that the bad ice conditions in these playoffs are to the benefit of the big bad Bruins over faster and 'fancier' opponents. They just said that the NHL opened the arena doors early to get people in out of the weather and that it may have made the ice tonight even worse...throw that on the pile of conspiracy theories.

well the Blackhawks have already scored more goals against the Bruins in this one game than the Penguins managed in their entire series against Boston??...

call almost nothing all freaking game, and in OT, you call THAT?!

There's not really much the Refs can do when a team has 6 skaters out there.

And it was something they called on Boston in regulation, too.

I know. It just pisses me off when they call that kind of stuff in OT??...

Anything that's not a judgement call type of play they have to call, or they put themselves in the position of having to deal with the controversy that comes from not making the call. Better to make the unpopular but absolutely correct call than to not make it.
