An interesting argument might be hurt next year (2024) for a better tomorrow (2025)

Give Nylander 10+ million next year.  Risk taking a step back because of depth next year but then get Tavares back (or not) on a team friendly deal in 2025 that balances out the Nylander/Tavares contracts plus the increased cap ceiling

I don't think the number has changed. Hes eventually going to slump so the price goes down then? I don't think it's a moving target in either direction.
