It's not just internet terminology anymore.  I was at a party last weekend, and some broad said "LOL".  Like, out loud.  With her mouth.

ugh, booked springsteen-tickets yesterday to gothenburgh (2nd biggest city in Sweden)...and the problem is that they're expanding the arena he's playing on so it will be 75000 on each concert...and it's impossible to get any bus tickets or train tickets from Stockholm to Gothenburgh, and you could always fly, but then I have to give them the info of who's going with me, and I don't know, and if I change that it could cost as much as the damn tickets >:(
 
Kind of pissed off right now, I am at training for 3 weeks and one thing we have to do is a Safety course but I took it a couple years ago apart of another trade, well I email my supervisor asking for my mark so I can pass it on and not do it here and he tells me he lost the records and suggests I just do it again.

Why waste time doing something I already have done and if there is no record of it, obviously I am not qualified for my other trade and shouldn't be doing it or taking standby for it, which is what I have to do when I get back for 2 weeks, I can refuse it now.

My mom got hit by a cyclist who was running a red light the other day. Lucky she didn't get seriously injured, and the jerk just took off without even helping her up.

I've actually seen police officers handing out tickets to cyclists. It's rare but it does happen.
