Oh no now I won't be able to take a photo of my dinner if the light is dim.

Not a photographer Potvin? Low light ability is one of the most important attributes on any camera.

It was a joke about how many people use their iPhones to instagram their food.

Ahhh. Gotcha. Let me say that I loathe people who take photos of their food.

I'm no better. I use my iphone to post pictures of my dog.  :-\

There's some really impressive features in the BB10 that you just can't do with iPhone. BB now has the best touch-screen keyboard in the business, the best camera, makes the best use of swiping/gestures, and remains the prime business mobile machine for those users. I'm really impressed, and can't wait to get one of those BB10's when my existing plan is up in the summer.

You sure?

Little bit of a bias there on that site, no?

The windows site might be biased but they're referencing a gizmodo  review of the camera.

Bought a nexus 7 for my vacation. Saw the score of the game last night and tried to watch highlights on tsn this morning. Says I need adobe flash. No problem I'll just download it ? Except adobe doesn't have a version for my android. So what's my next step? Android v4.2.1

Well, the problem is that mobile Flash is dead. Adobe killed it themselves. TSN needs to get with the program.

Buy a BlackBerry PlayBook.

No offense but when someone purchased an item the last thing they want to do is buy an alternative, especially a far, far, far worse alternative.

*facepalm*

and much swearing.....

I have a Macbook. I have an iPhone. Until the other day, never had an iCloud account. Macbook=Facebook, this forum etc etc. iPhone=really just for the phone. I have all my family phone numbers, doctors, work, hubby's work, school etc numbers on the phone.

So iCloud does a sync. And clears my freakin' iPhone of the numbers, listing all my Facebook friends as my 'contacts' on the phone!!!!! chrissakes!! no phone numbers!!! and certainly not the ones I need every day.

arrrrgh I hate iCloud!!!!

>:(

Just bought a Galaxy Note 2 and am enjoying the wonderfully large HD screen and using the pen stylus!

Had an iphone 4s prior to the Note 2 and while the iphone has a much more intuitive OS, the Note 2 comes pretty close.  All in all, very satisfactory.

You've never returned something that didn't work or didn't suit your needs and purchased an alternative instead?  That is, absolutely, something that people do.

Personal bias, much?  Just because you think it's a "far, far, far worse alternative", doesn't mean that it is, or that others think that.

He wanted suggestions, I gave him one.

Though I've only ever used the Playbook, and never had a problem, the Nexus certainly does get some mighty good reviews.

I never understand technology arguements???  Someone buys the apparent best tablet and yet can't do what they want on it is smarter than the person who buys the cheaper tablet that does exactly what they want it to do???  I have a Playbook that does everything I need from the device yet plenty of people tell me that I am a dummy for buying this "piece of crap"???  Some of these people spent several times more money than me for Ipad and only use it for web and email and they think I am the dummie??  I get same message about my BB phone, not sure what I am missing??

Not sure the answer Bates. I've never really understand brand loyalty when it comes to electronics or vehicles. I mean, I understand returning to a product because you've been satisfied with its performance. I just don't understand why people would assume that all other stuff is crap.

The biggest point of confusion for me is how people will spend double on a Mac book or similar when they could get a PC for 1/2 that. I've got no problems with the Macs -- in fact I like them quite a bit -- but I'll never pay $1800 for a laptop when the $800 PC will accomplish the same thing.
