So far so good, missed reading about the characters I actually like in the series.  A Feast For Crows was bereft of them.

Almost done "The Power of Two" - Carl Brewer's battle with Hockey's Power Brokers.

Just thought I'd share this quote;

"Bobby Clarke does not come to the table with clean hands. Leadership, pshaw! Does a leader of men sell out his team-mates? Bobby Clarke betrayed all the players who fought his battles and gave him the courage to play hockey. In essence, Bobby Clarke is a gutless f___."

- Carl Brewer on Clarke's and his handling of Eric Lindros.

"Destination Moonbase Alpha" by Robert E. Woods.

The definitive guide to the making of the 1970's sci-fi television series, Space:1999, one of the most expensive science-fiction tv series ever produced, at $6.5M/episode.  Space:1999 had some of the most spectacular special effects ever created in such a short time of being on the air, all but 2 year's worth of filming.  It became a cult hit, and today, still garners a loyal following on the internet with various websites paying homage to the series.

If anyone wants to know just what it takes and how much planning, writing, editing, and creativity is given, (with not much time between the filming of weekly episodes!), then, this book will give one an insight into the preparations & making of a television show, and the efforts in all facets of production.

Re-reading 'Geons, Black Holes, and Quantum Foam: A Life in Physics' by John Archibald Wheeler. Fascinating biography.

Just finished - Feasting on Asphalt (Alton Brown)
Currently reading - Superfreakonomics (Steven Levitt + Stephen Dubner)
Next up - The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde)

Not exactly a series of books with a unifying theme :P

Finally getting around to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Just scratching the surface of it so far, but, it's an interesting take on the zombie genre and on a literary classic.

Read the first book of the Hunger Games trilogy. Thought it was terrific. It'll be interesting to see how the movie turns out. I think the cast is great but like most adaptations I think it will be missing a certain part of the story that you can only get through a book.

James Joyce's The Dubliners. Something I've always meant to read but resisted for one reason or another. Still, I got a copy as a birthday present and I'm determined to see it through.

Electric-Koolaid Acid Test - Tom Wolfe.

Uhmmm...wicked. TBH might not get through this.

Next up is Slaughterhouse Five

Then...whatever the latest Drizzt Do'Urden book is. I think it's called the Ghost King?

Reading this now:

Zee, I did look for and find Unbroken but not n paperback...  :-\ I'm el-cheapo!

Yeah you'll have to wait for a bit, it came out this year and has been on the bestseller lists.  It's being made into a movie too so eventually it'll be out in paperback.  I read all my books on the Kindle so it's way cheaper than buying hardcover books.
