But, the Leafs would have already beaten the Bruins on April 3rd (tomorrow night), heading into their playoff series, if they were to make it.

No, it's true, the Leafs must beat the Bruins and that would be a bit of a statement heading into a post-season matchup. I'm sure the Bruins will be up for the game regardless with the potential to eliminate the Leafs two years in a row.Just a general statement that whoever draws that 2nd wild-card spot is in for a world of hurt this time of year.
