And we never saw Bracco again.

I'm surprised not to see Agostino.  He was the only one of the depth UFAs signed to 2 years instead of 1.

Which of the D are waiver-exempt?  If we can only carry 20 guys, that is going to have an impact, I think.

Also, what happens if someone gets injured and it isn?t a 10-game injury and there is 0 cap space? Can he still go on LTIR?

I was expecting Shore too.  Do we have enough PK forwards in the lineup?

My guess would be Marner, Kapanen, Mikheyev, Kerfoot, and Moore would be primary guys there. I wasn't sure about Kerfoot since he never PK'd in Colorado, but someone posted some PP lines that the Leafs were using in camp and he wasn't present on any of the 3 units that were used and I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't see any specialty team minutes. Could also see Tavares and Spezza playing some face-off and get-off minutes.

I forgot about Kerfoot being a possibility.  I think Johnsson should be considered too.  I believe he PK'd for the Marlies.  I figured that being new to North America would eliminate Mikheyev from consideration.

He was touted as being an effective penalty killer in the KHL. And Lindholm got PK minutes right off the bat last season so I don't think him being new to the NHL will be an impediment in that regard.

first update on Training camp at the Athletic posted in the last hour or so. Mitch working L side on Power play so far.  Big cuts tonight or tomorrow AM for Growlers, Marlies and those returning to their other teams.

Good point

My guess at PK: until Hyman returns

Moore-Spezza (FOGO) into Kapanen
Mikheyev-Shore
Tavares-Marner end of PP

The following seven players have been reassigned to their CHL teams: Mikhail Abramov (Victoriaville), Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (Peterborough), Filip Kral (Spokane), Kalle Loponen (Sudbury), Marc-Antoine Pepin (Shawinigan), Nicholas Robertson (Peterborough) and Riley Stotts (Calgary).

The following 15 players have been reassigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and will skate with the Maple Leafs Player Development Staff ahead of the Marlies' 2019 training camp, which will open on September 24: Matthew Bradley, Justin Brazeau, Giorgio Estephan, Brady Ferguson, Alex Gudbranson, Ryan Johnston, Michael Kapla, Aaron Luchuk, Tanner MacMaster, Zach O'Brien, Scott Pooley, Marcus Power, Sergei Sapego, Ian Scott and Maksim Zhukov.

No messing around this year with the baby buds. Top half of the Marlies depth chart remain to see if they can knock a vet loose from the bottom of the roster.

Would have been nice to see Robertson get a pre-season game.

He just turned 18 this week and the NHL roster doesn?t even have room to run ELC tryouts the first 8 games, so might as well get him and the other CHL prospects into their respective camps. He had a very good showing at Dev Camp and the prospect tourney.

I thought they might keep him around for a little bit since SDA survived for about a week and played a pre-season game last season. Obviously not to give him a chance to make the team but just to have him experience a NHL camp for a little bit. Granted considering how his season went maybe it's better to get those guys on their OHL teams sooner.

For some reason, which I can't put my finger on..I just have a feeling that Scott won't make it..if he does as a McBackup.

Congrats CtB. The Reign of Terror has begun.
