I've gone back and forth on it a million times and for what it's worth I've read some stuff on Jay that pretty reasonably argues that his "unreliability" is pretty understandable for a young black man who was selling drugs and dealing with Baltimore police and that a lot of the exculpatory "evidence" presented on Adnan's behalf is similarly problematic.
After listening to Serial I thought Adnan was either guilty or he was the unluckiest guy in the world who happened to be the target of pretty unforgivable police and prosecutorial misconduct. After everything I've read I still sort of feel that way without really being sure which direction I lean towards. That said, I agree that on the strength of the evidence presented, he probably shouldn't have been convicted.
