Useless Thread

There was a big bank robbery here today that failed. When I got home there were police cars everywhere, and helicopters up in the air. A few mins later I found out that one of the suspects got arrested by the police while waiting for his lunch at a local hamburger stand. Not the brightest guy, oh and he forgot his weapon in the car.

I thought I felt isolated in Gillam, been working out at Wuskwatim since November, 8 days on and 6 days off, but in the middle of the bush when working. I'm looking forward to my level 4 courses in April and being in the city for 10 weeks. After that is done, if I pass the inter-provincial I can apply on jobs in the city. I am looking forward to that and will appreciate it so much more after working here.

The station is awesome, the newest generating station in the province, the commishining just finished a month ago and everyone is great to work with, it's just very isolated :/

no bears to keep you company?

No bears out here, not that anyone has seen in quite a while, a lot of foxes, wolves and otters though, we have nicknamed two foxes, although the foxes haven't been spotted in a while, since the contractors left (they were feeding the foxes, not a good idea):

Gorgeous animals.

I love this time of year, where I can hit the refresh button on www.tmlfans.ca about every two minutes or so and the "new" icon pops up next to a thread title; and I'm not talking about useless thread or complaint thread here, but actual hockey discussions.

:)

NHL hockey hasn't even started yet!

This also means work productivity is probably about to slow down.

Sweet I managed to cut down my monthly cost for phone and broadband by over 50% by arguing with my current provider and playing out different vendors against them :D And I might have counted a bit wrong on some things that I used as arguments, but hey i'm not that smart ;D ;)

Any owners  Hyundai Tuscon, Toyota RAVA4, Honda CRV and Ford Escapes want to share their thoughts on their vehicles? I am slowly starting my search for my next vehicle.

I'd go Rav4, but I'm biased.

police officer friend of ours loves her Escape :) she gets great mileage (mostly the 400) with it, much better than her previous SUV (though I don't recall exactly what that was, something GMish anyway)

Agreed. Wife has one. Loves it.

Can't go wrong with that choice. I'd strongly consider the Subaru Forester as well, but I'm biased on that one.
