I block Sens fans because it became apparent early on that seeing and replying to their quasi-troll posts would just cause arguments. I joined a Leafs board to talk to and get opinions from Leafs fans, not to get baited by fans of other teams. If I wanted Sens fans opinions I would join a Sens board, simple as that. I think it's better I just ignore them as opposed to constantly arguing with them.

Hey I tried but I recall getting into a back and forth argument with sucker punch and I know that if I continue to read and reply to other fans it'll just lead to arguments. Who needs that?  There's enough arguing between Leafs fans on our own players let alone having to explain to Sens fans why Alfredsson is a clown.

I concur, I disdain Sens fans (and Habs followers as well) who are as obsessed with hating the Leafs as much as cheering for their own squad.

BUT I'd rather read intelligent posts from objective Sens fans on here then homer Leafs fans who honestly sound like the type that creates a lot of the hate and disparaging remarks against LeafNation. Just because Tucker is on the "good guy" team doesn't make him Jesus Christ, nor Alfie into the devil because he wears a Sens jersey and hit one of our players and scored a goal right after.

I can't comment as to that but the idea that someone who cut themselves off from the opinions of opposing fans here is somehow cutting themselves off from objective commentary just isn't true. I don't have anything against MF or SP but they're as coloured by their particular rooting interest as anyone else here.

Just about any issue concerning the Maple Leafs here will see debate and disagreement among Maple Leafs fans. If someone wanted to limit themselves to that they wouldn't be lacking for perspective.

Pointless hyperbole aside, Alfredsson made a dirty hit on a player on the team we, well I anyway, support. It wasn't in retaliation and you're not saying it was. You're just saying that Tucker somehow deserved to get hit like that because of some vague and unspecified things that he'd done at some point in the past. That's just ridiculous.

Like I said, I cannot believe that any Maple Leafs fan would give the thumbs up to someone on another team checking a Leaf from behind, injuring him and hurting the Leafs chances that year. Especially a guy like Tucker who genuinely did a ton to sacrifice his body for those Leafs teams.

You're right it is his choice but he shouldn't be in a Sens thread beaking off nonsense / trolling if he doesn't want  "get into it". He's doing the very thing he's accusing SP and myself of doing. That's the only thing I have a problem with - I think as a whole we all get along pretty well and enjoy each others opinions. I've mentioned this before but I come here cause you guys keep me from being an idiotic homer
