2011 Blue Jays/MLB Thread

Omar Vizquel? Really? I know it's a depth thing but holy cow! I'm curious where he's going to rank under the oldest players in the league this year.

Well, Jaime Moyer recently signed a minor league deal with the Rockies . . .

Not a terrible depth move, I guess. Not sure how they'll use him, though. He's not the defensive stalwart he once was.

He is the oldest position player in MLB, only Wakefield and Moyer are older. There is nothing wrong with having an 11 time Gold Glover on your bench IMO!

Playerey/coachey I suppose.

I was just thinking, you know, the Jays are a mediocre team but what they're really missing is someone who played with Ken Griffey Sr.

I'm pretty sure he's actually the last active player to have played a game at Exhibition Stadium. Moyer never did and Wakefield didn't get to the bigs until 1992.

I'm going to at least one game... I hope he's in the line-up  so when he makes a play or gets to bat, I can yell "You're my boy, blue!"
