Several notable young guns have also been assigned to the AHL including Jeff Skinner of the Hurricanes and the Oilers duo of Eberle and Nugent-Hopkins. We won't be seeing any of them at Ricoh as the Marlies do not face OKC or Charlotte.

Those guys are going to be insane at the AHL level. Even during the last lockout the AHL didn't see 30-goal scores from the NHL being sent down.

Not necessarily signings, but this will boost the Marlies. 22 players have been assigned to the AHL team, including Colborne, Gardiner, and Kadri. Tyler Biggs, David Broll, Stuart Percy and Morgan Rielly have been assigned to their CHL teams.

Isn't Hall eligible also once he returns from injury? Pretty disappointed we won't see them in St. John's this year either. AHL schedule is crazy.
