If not, nothing?

Yup. Pretty much gave him away and held on to some of his cap hit.

4 trades today, combined NHL goals this season of players involved, 8

Burkie was right that essential deals usually happen few days before the actual deadline. The same here - Iggy to Pit, Jagr to Bos, J. Bo to StL and let?s say Roy to Van. I do not expect anything special today. Btw. if not for Calgary and Dallas who decided to sell out, there are almost no moves of at least mediocre relevance.

That works out to about 1 hour of TSN airtime for each goal.

I get the constant yapping about nothing but the tweets? If I wanted to read idiots on twitter I'd be on twitter.

I'm a little surprised there haven't been more depth type moves made, but, I wasn't really expecting any major moves to be made today. The bigger names, for the most part, have been dealt already or have term left on their contracts.

Super exciting day.

Just absolutely riveting television.

Fun to watch the clowns, Dreger in particular

TSNBobMcKenzie: Ben Bishop has been told he's been traded from OTT to TB. #tradecentre

Lindback hasn't worked out all that well so far, and he's hurt. Bishop is a pending FA, though, so, you have to imagine Tampa's going to try to get Bishop signed to an extension.

It reminds me of an episode of south park where they put on a news broadcast show and they had Butters on "Celebrity Watch", where he just stood outside the school waiting a celebrities to show up.

I would've taken a chance on him, although we're kinda backlogged with goaltenders.

LOL

Rumour is it's Conacher and a 4th heading to Ottawa. If so, that's a darn good deal for the sens.

EDIT: That's confirmed now.

Conacher is a small, speedy winger with some skill. Probably a 2nd line type.

Very good.  And they probably won't miss a beat with Lehner and Anderson set to come back.

Grab him for a 2nd then flip him for a solid youngster and a pick.  Kudos to Murray.

Really good return for the Sens. Wow.

Is it really that good of a trade?  Conacher isn't a 19 year old either, and hardly proven.  He could be Bozak for all we know, he doesn't have the size, and has already slowed down to 6 points in last 16.

It's a good return, all things considered, but, Conacher is certainly no sure thing. He could very well not progress from where he is now, and he's not suited for anythign other than a scoring role.

This is what I was thinking, he might be a decent NHLer, but hardly proven and could end up being a depth player or even an AHLer.
